Dan is a 1988 graduate of the University at Buffalo School of Law.  He is a partner at the law firm of Cantor Lukasik Dolce & Panepinto in Buffalo, New York and has litigated in State and Federal courts throughout New York State. 

This year, he was named to the Best Lawyers in America publication, named as one of the top personal injury attorneys in New York State by the publication, Superlawyers, named to the Who's Who list by the Buffalo Law Journal, received the Merit Award for Public Service the New York State Bar Association, received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Community Service from the University at Buffalo Law School's Alumni Association and the Special Service Award from the Erie County Bar Association.

Dan is a member of the American Association of Justice for trial lawyers, the New York State Bar Association, the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association and The Erie County Bar Association.  He is a member of the Negligence, Real Property, Elder Law and Mediation committees.

Dan is also is actively involved in his community.  He is on the Board of Directors for Compeer Buffalo, a not for profit organization which pairs mentally ill individuals with volunteers who provide healing friendships.  Dan received the organization's Butler Award for advocating for those in his community with mental illness.  He is also a member of the New York State Bar Association's Lawyer's Assistance Committee.

Dan grew up in Newfane, New York and graduated from Newfane Senior High School in 1979 where he played on the school's football, basketball and track teams.  He then went off to Buffalo State College where he interned at The American Psychological Association in Washington, D.C. and spent a semester abroad in Siena, Italy.  He graduated magna cum laude in 1984.  Dan worked his way through college as a janitor, cook and painted houses. 

Dan and his family are long-time residents of Lancaster, New York and are parishioners at Nativity of Mary in Clarence, New York.  He is a member of St. Thomas More Guild Inc., an organization for lawyers in the Diocese of Buffalo, New York and volunteers his time distributing goods and food with the Saint Vincent DePaul Society.
